Check out these frequently asked questions, or call us at (404) 261-4941 to speak with our team.

Do I need a dental implant?

Dental implants are a great permanent solution for tooth loss. If you are missing a tooth, or have recently had a tooth extracted, you can probably benefit from getting a dental implant! Not only do dental implants look and feel completely natural, but they also promote good bone health and will never shift or move as a denture could. If you’re interested in exploring your options for dental implants, give us a call today at (404) 261-4941.

Do implants hurt?

No! The entire implant process is painless thanks to our skilled team who deliver effective numbing agents and can offer a variety of sedation options. At our office, we offer laughing gas, oral conscious sedation, and general anesthesia to ensure your stay comfortable throughout your procedure. While the implant site may feel a bit tender or sore while you heal, this subsides quickly.

How much does an implant cost?

Because each treatment is customized to each patient’s individual needs, it is difficult to give an accurate cost estimate before a consultation. To help you feel comfortable with making the decision to transform your smile with a dental implant, we offer consultations for all new patients! At your consultation, your doctor will examine your mouth to determine if you are a good candidate for a dental implant and provide you with an accurate cost estimate.

How do I care for my implant?

During the initial healing process, it is important to follow your doctor’s post-op instructions to help you avoid infection and ensure proper healing. After you’ve healed, you can treat your dental implant like a natural tooth! Simply continue brushing twice a day, flossing once a day, and visiting your dentist for a cleaning and exam every 6 months.
